Professional Doula

It's been said that it is important to "know thyself and be true to thyself." If you surrender to those natural traits you have within and allow the innate to manifest, you cannot help but be drawn to, and draw towards you, that which resonates. For my entire life, being a caregiver has resonated with me: to friends, family, even strangers. I tend to be the one to keep tabs on and take care of my tribe. Being able to offer compassion to those in need and provide gentle guidance towards calm resolution are touchstones of what make me who I am.

I am a native of Chattanooga, TN but have become a proud Memphian over the past 10 years. I'm a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, and friend to many. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching history documentaries, and finding new ways to embarrass my teenage daughter. I studied psychology at Middle Tennessee State University. I received my doula training through BeboMia Inc., a dynamic woman-run organization committed to bridging the gap between birthing people and healthcare professionals.

Both of my gifted and unique children were delivered through complications and by C-Section. My birthing experiences with each of them were different but the grand takeaway for me was this: support, guidance, and being well-informed is paramount to a positive experience.

I believe wholeheartedly that pregnant people should be equipped with the information, resources, and support to bring their blessings into the world as beautifully as they envision. My aim for each and every family is to help them achieve those wonderful goals.
