How to Become a Volunteer

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering for the Naturally Nurtured Birth Charitable Services. It is the generosity of people like you that allows us to continue supporting families together. Below you’ll find a brief description of the process of becoming a volunteer.

-
Complete the Volunteer Application. After you complete the form, you will receive an email and be added to the volunteer database.

-
Read the volunteer manual and sign documents. Prior to volunteering, individuals and groups must complete the emergency contact form, waiver and release of liability, and confidentiality agreement.

-
Complete the child safe procedures (if applicable). Childcare volunteers need to carefully read and sign the Child Safe Policy. Long-term volunteers will be asked to complete a background check and the Child Advocacy Center "Stewards of Children" training.

-
Sign up to volunteer. You will receive volunteer opportunities matching the interests you selected on the volunteer form via email. You can sign up to volunteer by responding to an email request for volunteers. If at any time you wish to remove yourself from the list or change your volunteer activities or availability, just let us know.
